Organ Concert

  • St. Michael's Episcopal Church 26 Pleasant Street Marblehead, MA, 01945 United States (map)

On Sunday, May 18th, at 5:00 p.m., St. Michael's Episcopal Church will present this year's last of five concerts, celebrating the fiftieth year of its FIsk organ.

For the churchgoer, singing hymns might be a familiar activity. Still, for those who wish to partake in communal singing outside of a liturgical context, or for those who just can’t get enough on Sunday mornings, this event is for you! James Bobb, Professor of Organ at St. Olaf College, Northfield, MN, will lead a hymn festival focusing on texts that invoke God’s love, but also will include a local favorite, Marblehead’s Official Town Anthem, “Marblehead Forever.”

A suggested donation of $20 per person is requested at the door. Following the concert, there will be a reception in the parish hall.
