St. Michael's holds its famous Lobster Luncheon during the Marblehead Festival of Arts. All proceeds from the luncheon, after expenses, support St. Michael's community and world ministries. Tours of St. Michael's historic building and an organ concert are typically offered during this event.
St. Michael's Lobster Luncheon includes lobster rolls, clam chowder, Marblehead salad, hot dogs, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, cookies, and watermelon. Beverages include our delicious iced tea with mint, bottled water, and soft drinks.
Proceeds from the Lobster Luncheon help support St. Michael's ministries for Marblehead, surrounding towns, and the world. In past years, these have included funds for Esperanza Academy, Friends of Marblehead Abandoned Animals, HAWC—Healing Abuse Working for Change, Marblehead Counseling Center, Marblehead Food Pantry, My Brother's Table in Lynn, and Lifebridge (formerly known as Crombie Street Salem Mission). St. Michael's also supports world missions such as Episcopal Relief and Development and our sister parish church and school in Archaie, Haiti.
