St. Michael's Lobster Luncheon

St. Michael's Church will be holding its famous Lobster Luncheon and Raffle during the Marblehead Festival of the Arts. All proceeds from the luncheon support St. Michael's community and world ministries. Tours of St. Michael's historic building will also be offered.

St. Michael's Lobster Luncheon includes lobster rolls, clam chowder, Marblehead salad, hot dogs, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, cookies and watermelon. Beverages include our delicious ice tea with mint, bottle water and soft drinks.

The Lobster Luncheon Raffle tickets are on sale now from parishioners and during luncheon hours with the drawing on the afternoon of July 6th. Tickets are $1 each, or a book of 6 for $5. Raffle items are:

Historic Church Tours
Members of the Historic Church Committee will be offering tours of St. Michael's 1714 church building, noon to 2 pm each day. The church was established in 1714, expanded in 1728 with major renovations in 1833 and 1890s. The building is the oldest New England Episcopal church on its original foundation.

Proceeds Support Missions
Proceeds from St. Michael's Lobster Luncheon and raffle help support St. Michael's ministries for the Marblehead, surrounding towns and the world. These include funds for Eperanza Academy, Friends of Marblehead Abandoned Animals, HAWC - Help for Abused Women and their Children, Marblehead Counseling Center, Marblehead Pantry, My Brother's Table in Lynn, and Salem Mission. St. Michael's also supports world missions such as Episcopal Relief and Development and our sister parish church and school in Archaie, Haiti.
